I was born in Moscow in 1999. At sixteen, I left the country due to political persecution. I arrived in Germany and spent the next three years living in various refugee camps. There was a lot of empty time, which is when I started observing my surroundings. I only had a phone to take pictures of our daily routine. Eventually, I settled in Düsseldorf. Today, in 2026, I shoot exclusively with a Ricoh GR IV
